We the undersigned are fans, friends and colleagues of Gustav Hasford who find it ridiculous and inexcusable that his books remain out of print. The Short-Timers and The Phantom Blooper rank among the most important pieces of Vietnam War literature, and thus deserve to be taught in classes and stocked in libraries for years to come. As the copyright holder, we ask that you take all neccessary steps to insure that Gustav Hasford's work returns to bookshelves where it belongs, so that his legacy lives on.
